Marleene Mariscal Buttice is a  minority business owner and strategic HR business partner. She has a benefit mindset dedicated to continuous learning and welcoming differing perspectives to deepen her growth. She appreciates challenging tasks, multi-tasking with competing responsibilities, and finds joy in marking things off her "to-do" list. Her motto is "Ideas are for Doing" and she welcomes the journey of innovation, using moments of failure as a data point to push forward. Resilience is her strong suit. 

She is a Certified Senior SHRM Professional with twelve years of teaching experience at the secondary level and four years of experience creating HR-based curricula and facilitating training for non-profit and for-profit, state, and local government entities. 

Educationally, she has a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in French, a (now expired) secondary teaching credential in mathematics, and an M.A. in Human Resource Management with a specialization in organizational learning and performance.
